Explore. Create. Inspire.

Many are Called, 2008

Splashes of color confidently spill onto scraps of sewn fabric. Once or twice the needle pierces my skin. Sharp pains settle in my shoulders as I crouch, trying to continue a running stitch. I stop sewing to question my intentions. After framing the sculptures, I stumble upon the answer to my question. The purpose of hand sewing is to illustrate originality, integrity, humility and most of all self-discovery.

With the sculptures I create my ideal world: a world that is serene, untroubled and beautiful. It is a world that speaks from the soul and is not limited to but derived from the imagination. I hope to inspire individuality in creative endeavors by liberating people from conventional aesthetics that influence and alter the creative spirit. I wish to make the young and the old laugh and see that art is inviting, free and beautiful.

Enjoy the artwork!
